On the panel bender, a servo motor and precision ball screw control the X position, matched with a Y push plate that locates the sheet precisely before the beam clamps. Two positioning modes are selectable on the machine: corner positioning for parts that have cut corners, and edge positioning for asymmetric notched and specially shaped workpieces.
